Introduction

Undergraduate degree programs; B.S.(Hons.) Zoology prepares the students for employment in commercial aquiculture, aquiculture
extension, fish hatchery management, fish processing and value addition, fish nutrition, molecular and population genetics, natural resource management, environment & wildlife conservation &management, environmental impact assessment & sustainable development. In addition to that applied Zoology studies will also help the degree holders to get employment in Colleges and Universities for teaching and research. The department intends to equip the students with necessary expertise & skills to cater the growing employment needs of these sectors in the country & abroad. I look forward to work with the successful entrants to University and welcome them on behalf of the Faculty.
